Los Angeles Clippers center Ivica Zubac has played his role to perfection during the 2019-2020 season. Zubac has emerged as one of the Clipper's better interior defenders and rebounders. This past season, Zubac has had a chance to develop outstanding on-court chemistry with Kawhi Leonard, one of the best players in the NBA.

In a recent interview with Crosarka, Zubac revealed what separates Kawhi Leonard from other NBA stars.

“He is really remarkable on the field; when you plan to steal an opponent, he steals it,” Zubac said. “He is excellent in the offensive segment, but what sets him apart from other players is the defense he brought to a very high level and that is one of the reasons why I believe we can reach the title.”

In the same interview, Zubac also spoke about Leonard's reputation for being a quiet person.

“And as far as his personal life is concerned, there is a lot of publicity in the story that he never laughs, but that is not true,” Zubac said. “He simply wants to keep his private life to himself, and to be exclusively a professional on the court. I can only say that he's completely normal and that he can often make us laugh in the locker room.”

Before the season was suspended, the Clippers were having one of their best seasons in franchise history. They are the second seed in the Western Conference, boasting a record of 44-20. Zubac is also having one of the best seasons of his career, averaging 8.0 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 1.1 assists in 18.1 minutes per game.
