The Indianapolis Colts lost 23-20 to the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday in Carson Wentz's return from COVID-19 protocols. The quarterback spent five days in isolation and he certainly looked like he had missed some time, struggling to really get going. Wentz was 0 for 4 to begin the game and as a whole, the offense looked very out of sync for the Colts, who fell to 9-7 on the year. After the defeat, Wentz reacted to his poor play:

“Definitely one of the weirdest weeks of my NFL career if not the weirdest,” Wentz said, via the Associated Press. “But we're good, locked in the virtual meetings. Just different, wouldn't say that's the reason for the performance or the reason we lost today by any means. Just a strange, strange week.”

On the day, the Colts signal-caller completed 16 of 27 passes for just 148 yards. 45 of them came on his lone TD throw that was nearly intercepted but somehow managed to find its way into T.Y. Hilton's arms. Colts head coach Frank Reich voiced how badly he wanted his team to book their ticket to the playoffs at home:

“Disappointing loss, really disappointed we didn't do what we had to do in front of our home fans and clinch a spot in the playoffs,”  Reich said.

Other than Jonathan Taylor, the Colts' offense is not clicking right now. Let's hope they can bounce back in Week 18, with Wentz leading the way.
