The Indianapolis Colts quickly found their Carson Wentz replacement, completing a blockbuster trade for Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan on Monday in exchange for a third-round pick. Following the move, linebacker Darius Leonard sent Ryan's former teammate, Julio Jones, a recruiting pitch on social media:

Of course, Jones was shockingly released by the Tennessee Titans last week. While most of the big WR names on the market have signed elsewhere, Jones remains a free agent and the Colts could be a nice landing spot. After all, Julio and Ryan formed a fantastic receiver-quarterback partnership in Atlanta.

Per StatMuse, the two combined for 838 catches on 12,744 yards and 61 touchdowns in 134 games played. The Colts do need some more weapons out wide after finishing 26th in the NFL in passing yards in 2021. What better player to add than Jones, who still has loads of potential and an impressive resume.

You'd have to believe he would consider reuniting with Matty Ice in Indianapolis, regardless of Leonard's message or not. Jones didn't have the best season with Tennessee, registering just 31 catches and 434 yards in 10 games. But, we know how important it can be for a receiver and signal-caller to have chemistry. These two have just that.

The Colts should make this happen.
