Indianapolis quarterback Philip Rivers finished a 12-play, 75-yard scoring drive for the Colts with a five-yard touchdown pass to Zach Pascal. Giving Indy the advantage with under two minutes remaining in regulation, the lead would prove to be just durable enough for the Colts to hold on for the win against the Houston Texans, as Indianapolis kept pace with the Tennessee Titans in the battle for the lead in the AFC South.

Watch the always dependable Rivers deliver for the Colts, below:

Following a drive by the Texans, in which DeShaun Watson led Houston on their own scoring drive that ate over six minutes of the clock, the answer by Rivers and company is yet another indication of the fortitude that the Indianapolis squad possesses. Entering the year with uneven expectations, due to Rivers' advanced age, the Colts have emerged in the AFC  as a potentially formidable foe heading into the postseason. His second touchdown of the game, Rivers has been above average this season, accumulating 22 touchdown passes against only nine interceptions, while pacing Indy to a 10-4 record.

Should the Colts find a way to maintain their place in the South Division, the team would likely find itself slotted into the AFC postseason. For an organization that looked lost after the retirement of Andrew Luck, Rivers continues to deliver.

The Colts will hope that the Tennessee Titans lose to the Green Bay Packers in NFL Week 16. That particular contest will contain a lot of meaning in the AFC South race, along with the battle for positioning in the NFC. The Packers are trying to fend off the Saints and the Los Angeles Rams for the No. 1 seed in the NFC. Remember that with seven playoff teams in each conference, only the top seed in each conference gets a wild card bye this season.
