The Dallas Cowboys lost the game last Thursday to the Las Vegas Raiders but they also played the game without their top-two receivers in Amari Cooper and CeeDee Lamb. With Cooper rejoining the team on Monday after a mandatory COVID quarantine, Cowboys fans were waiting on the news that the duo would be back in action by the time Dallas plays again–again on Thursday. Half of the news came in a little bit early with the report on Monday night from Jori Epstein of USA Today.

With Lamb back in the fold and Cooper likely set to return this week as well, the Cowboys are getting their team healthy at the right time. December is when you want to build the momentum that your team will then hopefully carry on through January and hopefully February. It starts this Thursday in New Orleans and continues with four tough divisional games and a date with the Cardinals in their final five weeks.

That might not be the most intimidating of schedules, as the NFC East is the worst division in all of football, but if you look closer you see that it actually might be very tough. All three of the other teams in the division are playing better than they were at the beginning of the season. Four games in the final five weeks against your biggest rivals who are playing at their season's peak does not sound like a recipe for success for the Cowboy…but it is the road they will have to take.
