The Dallas Cowboys are coming off of a 2018 campaign in which they won 10 games and captured the NFC East division title before eventually being eliminated by the Los Angeles Rams in the Divisional Round of the playoffs.

As a result of their success this past season, many have lofty expectations for the Cowboys heading into 2019, including quarterback Dak Prescott, who is expecting big things from Dallas this year:

“My expectations are high,” Prescott said, according to Jon Machota of The Dallas Morning News. “Not necessarily any ceiling on what I can do or what this team can do. It's just been about work. Simply just working to get better in every aspect of my game, making sure my teammates are doing the same. We're excited for the position we're in.”

Prescott threw for 3,885 yards, 22 touchdowns and eight interceptions while completing 67.7 percent of his passes and posting a passer rating of 96.9 in 2018 en route to a Pro Bowl appearance. Most importantly, he led the Cowboys to just their third playoff win since 1997.

The 25-year-old, who played his collegiate football at Mississippi State, was originally selected by Dallas in the fourth round (135th pick overall) of the 2016 NFL Draft.

Due to an injury to Tony Romo, Prescott was pressed into starting duty during his first season and ended up making the Pro Bowl after throwing for 3,667 yards, 23 touchdowns and four picks while guiding the Cowboys to a 13-win campaign. He then took a bit of a step back in 2017, but rebounded very nicely this past year.
