Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is feeling more confident than ever. After all, he is fully healthy this offseason and has done a lot more work to prepare him for the season ahead.

To recall, Prescott spent the majority of the past offseason recovering from the significant ankle injury he sustained in Week 5 of the 2020 campaign. With that said, he didn't really have a chance to focus on improving himself.

This time, however, he is fully healthy and fully believes he is way better at this point compared to where he was last year.

“I think I’m so much further along than I was at this time last year. My confidence is through the roof,” the Cowboys QB said, per Jon Machota of The Athletic.

That is definitely what Cowboys fans would want to hear. The team had a promising run in 2021, but it ended in disappointment after they bowed out to the San Francisco 49ers in the Wild Card round.

The Cowboys haven't made it to the Super Bowl for over two decades now, and for the so-called America's Team, that is quite the embarrassment. With that said, a lot of fans are hoping that Dak Prescott would be able to lead the team to the title.

It is also great to hear that Prescott is way better now physically. Mike McCarthy recently revealed his plan to have more quarterback runs and movement plays for Dak in 2022, so his health is a major factor if they want to make it work.

Hopefully, Prescott's health and newfound confidence give the Cowboys a major boost when the new season starts.
