Signs were pointing up on Saturday, and the Dallas Cowboys will indeed get a boost with the defensive end duo of DeMarcus Lawrence and Randy Gregory passing all their necessary COVID-19 tests. As it currently stands, their current condition permits them to suit up in Week 11 against the Minnesota Vikings, per NFL Network‘s Tom Pelissero.

Despite having a recent illness, Lawrence still managed to play in their most recent encounter in Week 10 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, recording a total of three tackles in the game.

Meanwhile, Gregory has been fairly limited for the majority of the 2020 season. The Cowboys were given a roster exemption for the first six games of this season due to his violation of the league's substance abuse policy back in 2019. He was reinstated about a month ago.

Gregory also managed to suit up for the Cowboys against the Steelers, contributing two tackles. Unfortunately, both of their efforts in the game went down the drain as the Cowboys ultimately suffered a 24-19 loss to the undefeated Steelers. The loss dragged America's Team to a 2-7 record.

On the opposite side of the field, Pelissero added that Vikings tight end Irv Smith Jr. will make his way on the gridiron as well after previously sustaining a groin injury. Smith missed the Vikings' last game, a victory over the Chicago Bears, but he scored two touchdowns in the Week 9 win over the Detroit Lions.

The Vikings will be gunning for their fourth straight win, while the Cowboys will look to end their four-game losing skid in an exciting Week 11 tilt.
