Former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant recently made headlines for his rant on social media. Needless to say, he has spared none of his true feelings for some of his former colleagues in Dallas.

One fan blamed executive vice president Stephen Jones in response to Bryant's notion that the Cowboys' struggles were due to lackluster playcalling. However, the former Cowboys' star responded to the post on Twitter saying team owner Jerry Jones is the reason for the team's struggles:

“He’s not clueless.. Jerry was the only one who was clueless.. sh*t was a planned to get me out ask Travis and my brother snake Lee I mean Sean Lee.”

Bryant's lack of remorse toward Jones should come as no surprise. There is no doubt that he has received criticism for some of the personnel moves he has made over the years.

However, the shot at linebacker Sean Lee was perhaps a bit unexpected. It goes without saying that things between him and the Cowboys did not end on a high note. Bryant has now pinned the blame on Jones and the team's coaching staff for their tumultuous 2017 campaign.

This is now the second time Jones has managed to publicly ruffle some feathers. He recently caught plenty of flak for his recent stance on player protests during the national anthem. Executive vice president Stephen Jones made it clear that players on the Cowboys would not kneel if they wanted to remain on the team.

Many have suggested that Jones has succumbed to the pressure placed on him by President Donald Trump. Regardless, there is no question that this will continue to be a major storyline in the 2018 NFL season.
