Longtime Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has reportedly been involved in a car crash.

According to a report from ESPN's Todd Archer, Jones was taken to the hospital after the said incident. Fortunately, the crash was considered to be minor and the Cowboys owner merely visited the hospital for “precautionary measures”.

WFAA, citing multiple Dallas police sources, reported that Jones was in a crash just before 8:10 p.m. CT near Wolf and Harry Hines Boulevard. Emergency crews were called to the scene, and Jones reportedly suffered minor injuries.

The news was also confirmed by his son Sand Cowboys exec Stephen Jones, who also cleared up that his father had already been discharged from said hospital.

Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones said in a text message to ESPN that his father was back home and “all good.”

Jerry Jones has been the constant face of the Dallas Cowboys ever since he purchased the team way back in 1989. His franchise ownership found early success, winning three Super Bowls between 1992 to 1995.

Since then, he has been very hands-on with the decision-making process as the Cowboys try to reestablish themselves as a powerhouse franchise in the NFL. All signs point to Jerry Jones being able to do just that once the season rolls around once again.
