Dallas Cowboys team owner Jerry Jones remains as out of touch as it gets when it comes to his floundering franchise.

With the Cowboys once again falling way short of winning a title and not even making the playoffs in 2020-21, Jones let the world know what is really important during these unprecedented times–attendance records, of course.

Jones did find the time to admit that he is indeed disappointed that Dallas did not excel on the field in 2020-21, but the longtime Cowboys owner quickly acknowledged that his franchise did “set the world record for attendance during a pandemic.”

Does someone want to tell Jerry that such a feat is quite literally the exact opposite of the current goals put in place to attempt to slow down the spread of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, which has already killed nearly 400,000 Americans?

Jones' Cowboys finished in third place in the NFC East division, which was by far the worst group in the league this season.

With both the Cowboys and the rival New York Giants finishing at a less than stellar 6-10, it was ultimately the Washington Football Team that made it to the postseason with a nearly even 7-9 record. The Philadelphia Eagles finished the year in the NFC East cellar, thanks to the team's lopsided 4-11-1 record.

The Cowboys were officially eliminated from postseason contention in Week 17, as Dallas came up just shy against the aforementioned Giants–but only because of the absolutely terrible NFC East division. Had the NFC East been slightly better in 2020-21, Jones' team would have been way out of the running (but not in terms of attendance).
