It looks like Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott is making significant strides in his full recovery from knee injury.

Elliott has been bothered with a lingering issue in his right knee for weeks now, but based on his performance in Week 15 against the New York Giants on Sunday, he is progressing nicely to being 100 percent. Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy hinted as much, adding that using a knee brace has helped his veteran rusher.

“I think Zeke’s kind of turned the corner there. I think the brace, as he said, makes it more stable,” McCarthy said, per Michael Gehlken of the Dallas Morning News.

Ezekiel Elliott started using a knee brace in Week 14 when they played the Washington Football Team, and it has undoubtedly been beneficial for him. He rushed for 45 yards on 12 carries in the game, even though he failed to register a touchdown.

Against the Giants, though, he ran for 52 yards on 16 carries for one touchdown. He was crucial as the Cowboys dominated the game, 21-6, to improve to 10-4 and remain atop the NFC East division.

Of course there are still concerns about Zeke's overall health, especially with the postseason nearing. Nonetheless, there are high hopes he is fully recovered by the time Dallas starts its postseason run and attempt to contend for the Super Bowl title.
