Robert Quinn will be playing his first season with the Dallas Cowboys in 2019. The defensive end spent the first seven years of his career very productively with the Los Angeles (and at times St. Louis) Rams. Then he spent one year with the Miami Dolphins in 2018 – having another productive year.

Quinn is often overlooked when considered the best, most consistent pass rushers in the NFL. However, that tends to be the case – shown by his 69 sacks in 111 career games.

Now with the Cowboys, many might not realize he's still just 29. Defensive coordinator Rod Marinelli realizes there's still a lot in the tank though. According to Charean Williams of ProFootballTalk.com, Marinelli believes Quinn's “got some juice”.

“He’s got some juice,” Marinelli said of Quinn. “He’s got that first step. He’s an established pass rusher in this league, so he’s going to bring some good stuff for us.”

For some reason, it's easy to forget that Quinn isn't even 30 yet. However, as Marinelli points out, the pass rusher still brings a lot to the table. He's always been known to have a quick first step and fantastic finesse moves to help him get to the quarterback.

Don't forget, this is a man that racked up 19 sacks in one season back in 2013. He's got elite stuff.

However, Robert Quinn hasn't had a double-digit sack season since 2014. That being said, he did manage 8.5 sacks in 2017 and 6.5 in 2018.

The Cowboys could use a solid veteran who brings consistency to the defensive line. Marinelli is right in being excited about the University of North Carolina product.

In fact if you aren't careful, Robert Quinn could surprise you. Don't be all that surprised if he does manage to pull a fantastic season out of a hat.
