Dallas Cowboys linebacker Sean Lee who has dealt with injuries his whole career was finally back as a full participant on Sunday. Throughout his career, he has dealt with hamstring, toe, neck, wrist and knee injuries. He has also had a history with concussions.

Because of his history with the injuries, the Cowboys are bringing him back slowly and that is smart because they need him healthy this season.

The medical staff has worked with Lee this offseason trying to come up with a plan to keep him healthy for the entire season. They have suggested that he ease into training camp and that has been hard for the linebacker.

“It’s tough because you want to be out with your teammates,” Lee said via The Athletic. “Camp is about sacrifice and building together and as a leader, you want to be out there. For me, sometimes I understand they want to make sure I keep things in perspective and stay healthy and I’ve had issues doing that. So trying to make sure we have a balance between making sure I’m practicing, coming out with my teammates, working but also staying healthy.”

The Cowboys hope that Lee will be able to practice on Monday and Tuesday before they leave for their second preseason game. The Cowboys haven't announced their plans in terms of if he will play in the preseason games but it seems like there is a good chance he won't play in them and his first game action will be in Week 1 of the regular season.
