Taco Charlton fired back at Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones over his savage dig suggesting that the defensive end is a draft bust.
When asked recently on who has the final call in their draft selections, Jones refused to answer it directly and instead threw his son, Stephen Jones, under the bus. The Cowboys boss said that “Taco was Stephen's call.”
To recall, Charlton was drafted 28th overall in 2017. However, he lasted just two seasons in Dallas before he was out, eventually finding himself as a journeyman having joined three teams in the last three years.
Upon seeing Jones' comment, however, Charlton clapped back with the Woody Harrelson crying meme where the actor can be seen wiping tears with money.
Well, that is not a bad way to troll Jerry Jones. In fact, it's rather hilarious since Taco Charlton didn't actually deny what the Cowboys owner implied in his comments.
Instead, he seems to be saying that at least he got paid and that's what matters.
Charlton is now with the New Orleans Saints where he hopes he can finally find his footing and make the significant impact many thought he would provide coming out of Michigan. For NOLA, though, they are certainly expecting the 27-year-old DE to have that winning mentality instead of being in it just for the money.
