The Dallas Cowboys dropped to 3-5 on Monday night with the loss against the Tennessee Titans, and even though it hurt their chances at winning the division, Ezekiel Elliott still thinks they are in the race.

The Cowboys sit two games behind the Washington Redskins, and they still have a game to play against them, but they also have the Philadelphia Eagles in their way.

“We’re not out of it. We’re two games behind the division, so we have a lot of ball left, just got to figure out fast how to get things right,” Elliott said after the game via Pro Football Talk.

It is true the Cowboys aren't out of it, but the loss against the Titans really hurt them. They could have been sitting at 4-4 heading into a big showdown against the Eagles but instead, they are sitting at 3-5, and now this Eagles game is a must win.

“We’ve just got to go out there and find ways to win. We’re not out of it, we’re not out of it all. But you have to win ball games. We’ve got to be better than we were today,” Elliott said.

The next five games for the Cowboys are brutal and to have a chance they probably need to go at least 4-1. After the Eagles, they play the Atlanta Falcons, Washington Redskins, New Orleans Saints, and then another matchup with the Eagles.

If this team can't finish the season strong and make the playoffs there are probably going to be some significant changes made.
