The Cleveland Cavaliers have found themselves in a bit of a bind with Kyrie Irving‘s trade request coming to the light several days ago.

However, Orlando Magic point guard D.J. Augustin recently told William Guillory of The Times-Picayune that he sees the situation as one that could help the league.

“It gives other teams hope,” Augustin said. “They see Kyrie may be leaving, they see Carmelo may be leaving. Teams are trying to build super teams now. That's what's going on…At the end of the day, whatever team you're on you just have to concentrate on your team, don't worry about nobody else and make your team as best as possible.”

The loss of Irving could have a huge impact on the Cavaliers' grip hold over the rest of the Eastern Conference as it may provide teams such as the Boston Celtics, Toronto Raptors, and Washington Wizards the chance to finally dethrone them.

It could lead to a huge domino effect with teams thinking that they may have a shot to get past Cleveland. This could lead to several more major moves being made just on the notion alone to finally overtake the team that has made it to three straight NBA Finals.

Regardless of what transpires with the Cavaliers, it's clear that the rest of the league have their eyes glued on the situation and that could mean some major moves ahead.
