DeMarcus Cousins, the Sacramento Kings All Star big man, was selected to play in Rio this summer for USA Basketball.
His skill makes him a perfect choice to represent the red white and blue against the best international competition out there. Although Cousins has a bit of a reputation for being a hot head at times, has said that he is misunderstood, and never shies away from an opportunity to show that he has plenty of character to spare.
Friday, Cousins took some time out of his busy schedule to answer questions from fans on Twitter about anything they could think of. The internet can be mean sometimes, and that isn't always the best course to take, but fans came out to ask questions about things they've always wanted to know such as, how did he earn the nickname ‘Boogie', and Cousins was happy to answer.
Below are a few of his tweets during the Q&A session, but you can check his Twitter page to see the full Q/A for more.
Some like to label me, but they don’t know the full Boogie. Got questions? I’ll answer & keep it ????. #CANTBOXBOOGIE pic.twitter.com/4vu8tLjXY0
