While most Espers in Dislyte can be obtained primarily from its gacha system called Echo, a notable few can only be obtained via special means. Some can be obtained from Ripple Dimensions popping up from time to time, some can be obtained from clearing a treacherous tower of enemies, but the best ones can only be obtained from something called Esper Fusion.

In Esper Fusion, you can “sacrifice” Espers under specific conditions, fusing them into an exclusive one that can’t be found anywhere else. These two exclusive Espers are Fabrice and Gabrielle, and they are one of the best Espers in the entire game.

In this article, we will serve as your guide on how to use the system, what the path of progression is, and how to obtain the two prized Espers in a very efficient manner.

Fusing Espers

Getting Fabrice and Gabrielle is definitely not an easy task, but it’s an investment that will pay off almost instantly the moment you get your hands on them. Fabrice is a powerful all-around support who can provide team-wide immunity and single-target invincibility. He’s also a fantastic support for slow but hard-hitting fighters like Lin Xiao, by granting a massive and immediate AP boost.

To obtain Fabrice, you’ll need to level four Espers (one of each Element) to at least lv30, and one of them has to be Berenice. Each Esper to be fused also needs to be at Ascension Phase IV, which might take a while to obtain if you’re a relatively new player. Once all prerequisites are set and ready, you can fuse them in the War Room to obtain a level 1 Fabrice.

From this point onwards, you can choose to level Fabrice as one of your core team members, or proceed to getting Gabrielle by using your newly-acquired Fabrice as fusing material.

Rushing to obtain Gabrielle is definitely not a bad idea, especially if you have other supports to fill the shoes of Fabrice. Be mindful, however, that the wave records that you will be using to ascend your fusing materials, may be better utilized to upgrade your current core team comp.

Despite that, Gabrielle is an exceedingly powerful unit for all content types, by providing team-wide immunity and defense buffs, while inflicting ATK Down to all foes. This combination plus her magnificent SPD stat places her a whole step higher than the rest.

To obtain Gabrielle, you must acquire a Fabrice of at least level 40 and ascend him to Phase V. Additionally, you will need to prepare one Esper per element and also ascend them to Phase V. To put it simply, it’s the same process as obtaining Fabrice, but you fuse Fabrice instead of Berenice, and all Espers must be at Phase V.

Saving Time and Resources

All of this might look like a total hassle, but there are many methods to obtain those Espers faster and cheaper. This won’t be a step-by-step guide for farming Esper levels or Wave Records, but we have made a couple of pointers to make your grind a lot easier.

  1. Properly Build a Farming Carry
Having a proper farming carry is not only vital in Esper Fusion, but also in general account progression. A farming carry is an Esper who has full self-sustain without the need of a healer, while being able to sweep groups and waves quickly. Popular farming carries include Mona, Li Ling, and Lin Xiao. Farming carries typically have the Hades set equipped, due to the lifesteal it provides.
  2. Level Espers Who Can Buff
To make things even easier for your farming carry, you may choose to fuse espers that can buff while you level them. This might not change the amount of resources used, but it can save IRL time, especially when you have other work to do. Popular options are Brynn for Wind, Unky Chai for Inferno, and Jeanne for Flow.
  3. Do Practice Stages
As much as possible, try to farm in the hardest practice stage your farming carry can handle solo. This provides the highest amount of XP for your team, making leveling faster.
  4. Elemental Wave Boosters
This is a consumable item that can be obtained from certain events, log-in rewards, or special shops. Using one grants double rewards from Sonic Miracles, which is definitely worth using–especially when you’re farming for the best characters in the game.

There you have it! Put these tips in mind, and you’ll have your very own Fabrice and Gabrielle in no time.
