Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw has not pitched since his stellar 2023 season during which he had a sub-2.50 ERA and 137 strikeouts for Manager Dave Roberts' team. The Kershaw situation got a key update on Saturday as the lefty fireballer's latest throwing status was revealed.

Recently another Dodgers pitcher, Walker Buehler, dropped an honest admission on his post-injury performance so far during the 2024 MLB year so far. The Dodgers' star closer Evan Phillips also broke his silence on his return from the 15-day injured list.

Kershaw's injury update is good news for Dodgers fans currently enjoying another World Series caliber performance so far with Roberts' team five games up on the second place San Diego Padres in the National League West heading into the June portion of the team's schedule.

Fans proclaimed the good news on Twitter. Kershaw went 13-5 last year with 137 strikeouts and a WHIP of just over one, showing off his dominance on the hill for Dave Roberts' team.

“I am excited for his return! Can't come fast enough,” one reader said.

“Let's gooooooo!” another added. Tyler Glasnow currently leads the Dodgers in earned-run average on the season among starting pitchers, ranking 30th in MLB with a 3.06 ERA. Glasnow has a 6-3 record and has yet to give up a home run on the season.
