Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Trevor Bauer recently suggested that the woman who is accusing him of sexual assault has edited photos of herself to make it look exaggerated and worse than they were.
According to TMZ Sports, the woman hopes to strike a huge cash settlement as told by Bauer and his legal team. Trevor's lawyer said they have recovered text messages and emails sent to the woman's friends and legal counsel saying
try to settle with me, offer me major cash then make me sign a non-disclosure agreement
However, the Dodgers star and his attorneys are firm in their stand of not discussing any financial settlement with the said victim.
The drama continues as the Dodgers' star and his lawyer reiterated their stance that they believe the two sexual encounters between the baseball player and the woman in April and May were entirely consensual.
[Bauer's accuser] has taken a proceeding designed to prevent future acts of ‘domestic violence,' and turned it into a tool for attracting media attention and attempting to end [Bauer's] baseball career,” Bauer's attorneys wrote
But in another text message by the woman to her cousin, she actually told that it was consensual but was shocked about what happened after.

Bauer’s career remains on hold as he was put into an extended administrative leave, amid separate investigations by the Pasadena Police Department and Major League Baseball.
