Los Angeles Dodgers star Cody Bellinger will appear in the new Assasin's Creed Valhalla video game.

Bellinger will be a character named Otta Sluggasson.

“I'm excited. I love video games, so when I heard I had the opportunity to be a character in a big video game, I was excited, I really was,” Dodgers star Cody Bellinger told Sam Alipour of ESPN. “I'm kind of a video game nerd. My brother and I played Assassin's Creed back in the day and used to love it. The graphics are so realistic. It's a game that will take up a lot of your time.

“You can find me in story mode. You got to beat me in the challenge to advance to the next place. My name is Otta Sluggasson — it translates to something like power hitter or big hitter or something like that. It was super exciting when I was doing the filming for it, and I got to swing a bat or a stick or an ax, so it was super natural to me.”

Bellinger and the Dodgers defeated the Tampa Bay Rays in the 2020 World Series in six games. The lefty batted only .136 in the six-game series, but all that matters is that the Dodgers won the whole thing.

Bellinger told ESPN he just moved into a house in Arizona with his brother and girlfriend. The Dodgers' outfielder and first baseman plans to buy a new TV soon so he can kick back, relax and watch some football after a crazy 2020 MLB season.
