Criticizing your boss on social media is something of a bold move at any job. Especially when being critical as an NFL player to your team owner. Which is what Miami Dolphins wide receiver Kenny Stills did with his tweet in calling out Stephen Ross.

The reason for this tweet is because of the wide receiver's stance that he took in kneeling during the national anthem. A move made controversial by former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick in the protesting of police brutality.

Kenny Stills was amongst the many few who were involved in supporting the message Kaepernick was trying to send out. And a number of Dolphins players were there to kneel alongside Stills in solidarity for the former 49er.

With Stephen Ross, he's putting together a fundraiser for President Donald Trump. A person who has been very vocal about his stance against kneeling during the national anthem. He went on a rant roughly two years ago calling the players some unsavory terms and saying that the players that are doing the kneeling should either be suspended or fired.

This sort of thing isn't something that would go unspoken about by Stills as he would continue to comment on the matter.

Someone has to have enough courage to let him know he can't play both sides of this. It's something that I can look back on and say I made the right decision. Maybe I shouldn't have done it on social media, but I did. If you're going to associate yourself with bad people, then people are going to know about it. I put it out there for everybody to see it.

Stills is someone that's still in the league that continues the message that Kaepernick started. We'll see how this continues to unfold over the next few weeks.
