The Miami Dolphins have been struggling for the past month, but they could get a major boost in time for Week 6 with the potential return of starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.

Tagovailoa has been on the Dolphin's injured reserve after suffering from fractured ribs in their Week 2 loss to the Buffalo Bills. Miami has not tasted victory after that, with their lone win coming in Week 1 against the New England Patriots where Tua threw for one touchdown and rushed for another.

In a bit of good news for the team, though, Tagovailoa has been officially designated to return to practice from the IR list. Now, there are high hopes he could be ready when they play the Jacksonville Jaguars in London this coming Sunday.

For what it's worth, though, Dolphins head coach Brian Flores teased on Monday that Tua Tagovailoa is making good progress in his recovery and could very well be activated against the Jaguars. However, Flores did note that they have to see first how the young QB moves and throw the ball before making a decision.

“He is making a lot of improvement. What we need to see is to see him move around, see him throw the ball, see him on the run. See the deep ball. The one thing we won't see is real and true contact. There will obviously be some pain tolerance he'll need to deal with,” Flores said of Tua, per Omar Kelly of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.

It remains to be seen what the Dolphins end up doing, but it should be remembered that Miami's backup QB Jacoby Brissett is currently dealing with a hamstring injury. Considering the situation, Flores and Co. might have to really play Tagovailoa.
