The Miami Dolphins are hosting a visit with University of Oklahoma wide receiver Marquise Brown, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Brown is coming off of a terrific junior campaign in which he hauled in 75 receptions for 1,318 yards and 10 touchdowns.

He actually began his collegiate career at the College of the Canyons, a community college in Santa Clarita, Ca. He was so impressive during his freshman year there that he received multiple D-1 scholarship offers, eventually committing to Oklahoma.

Brown then went on to play in 13 games during his first season with the Sooners, catching 57 passes for 1,095 yards and seven scores.

However, late this past year, Brown underwent surgery to repair a Lisfranc injury and was in a walking boot. As a result, Brown did not participate in the Scouting Combine and has not engaged in any pre-draft workouts.

The good news is that the wide out, who has been out of his walking boot for a little while now, received some positive news on his foot earlier this week, meaning that he may very well be drafted on the first round later this month.

The 21-year-old is actually related to Oakland Raiders wide out Antonio Brown.

The Dolphins won just seven games this past season and missed the playoffs. They have made just one postseason appearance since 2009, and going back even further than that, Miami has qualified for the postseason only twice since 2002.

In addition, the Dolphins have not won a playoff game since the 2000-01 campaign. They have made the playoffs just three times overall since.
