Former Miami Dolphins head coach Brian Flores shocked the football world Tuesday, filing a class action lawsuit against the NFL, the Dolphins and all of the other teams in the league. This sent shockwaves throughout the sports spectrum, leaving players stunned.

In the lawsuit, Flores claimed that he was pressured to meet a prominent quarterback toward the end of the 2019 season. Flores refused, recognizing the league's tampering rules. Allegedly, Dolphins owner Stephen Ross then invited Flores for a lunch on a yacht. Upon arrival, Flores was informed that the unnamed quarterback would also be attending the lunch. Flores once again refused and walked away.

According to former ESPN reporter and Palm Beach Post journalist Joe Schad, the unnamed quarterback was none other than Tom Brady himself.

Brady had just finished his final season with the New England Patriots. He lost to the Tennessee Titans at home in the Wild Card Round. However, Brady was not yet a free agent at the time of the supposed lunch meeting. That would violate the NFL's tampering rules.

Brady would later sign with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers that offseason. He would go on to carry the franchise to a Super Bowl championship.

Meanwhile, Flores claimed he was met with disdain upon leaving the yacht. After all, his refusal to meet with Brady potentially cost the Dolphins a chance to land the greatest quarterback of all-time.

Flores also claims that Ross attempted to bribe him to lose games. Ross reportedly offered $100,000 for each loss during the 2019 season. This season, Flores led the Dolphins to their second straight winning season. Yet, he was shockingly fired.

This is still a developing story with plenty of twists and turns to come.
