Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa got a treat of his life when his “celebrity crush” Shania Twain replied to him on Twitter.

Tagovailoa was answering a series of questions online, which weren't necessarily football-related. From interesting tidbits such as the strangest things that a fan has ever told him to the most trivial (bath or shower), the 22-year-old Dolphins rookie tried his best to answer them all.

When asked who was his guilty pleasure singer, Tagovailoa, without hesitation, answered Shania Twain. She also happens to be his celebrity crush.

This is where things got interesting.

“Shania, if you watch this, from this moment on, please message me back,” the Dolphins youngster pleaded in the video.

By some stroke of luck or fate, Twain got word of Tagovailoa's antics. Though she didn't seem too pleased when Tagovailoa said that her music is his “guilty pleasure,” the emoticons seem to indicate that it's all good between her and the Alabama product.

As expected, the Dolphins QB immediately replied and even referenced one of Twain's most popular song.

There's so much excitement on what Tua Tagovailoa, the fifth overall pick of the 2020 NFL Draft, will bring to the table. He spent three years in Alabama where he collected trophies — both for individual and team accolades. Some of these include the SEC Offensive Player of the Year in 2018 and the CFP National Championship in 2017.

Tua suffered several injuries in his junior year, which became a cause of concern. However, he has healed up rather quickly. Now, he will look to to continue his success in the pro ranks with the Dolphins.
