The 21-year-old superstar has been in elite form for Borussia Dortmund, scoring 11 goals and 4 assists in 8 league games this season. During his stay in the Bundesliga, Haaland has proved to be a prolific striker by scoring 68 goals in 67 matches. It is common knowledge around the footballing world that Haaland’s contract with Dortmund runs out at the end of the season, which is assumed to be at £75million.
Manchester City is still looking to fill the void Sergio Aguero left behind as he signed for Barcelona back in May. City failed to capitalize on any moves in the previous transfer, most notably, their failure to sign Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur.
Manchester City legend, Shaun Goater, also expressed his desire for the club’s interest in signing Haaland.
