Manchester City is reportedly set to meet with football superagent, Mino Raiola, over a possible move in the summer transfer window for Norwegian Star Erling Haaland of Borussia Dortmund.

The 21-year-old superstar has been in elite form for Borussia Dortmund, scoring 11 goals and 4 assists in 8 league games this season. During his stay in the Bundesliga, Haaland has proved to be a prolific striker by scoring 68 goals in 67 matches. It is common knowledge around the footballing world that Haaland's contract with Dortmund runs out at the end of the season, which is assumed to be at £75million.

Manchester City is still looking to fill the void Sergio Aguero left behind as he signed for Barcelona back in May. City failed to capitalize on any moves in the previous transfer, most notably, their failure to sign Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur.

Manchester City legend, Shaun Goater, also expressed his desire for the club's interest in signing Haaland.

“He’d be an exceptional buy as he’s young, his scoring record in Europe is phenomenal and I think he’d adjust to the Premier League easily.”

Goater added,

“He played against City in the Champions League last season and his pace was frightening. Wow.”

Haaland has been previously linked to several top clubs in Europe aside as well, drawing interest from Chelsea, FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester United, and Liverpool.
