Likely as a part of its pre-wipe events, Escape From Tarkov currently has a limited-time questline. If you want to take part in it, then don't worry. Here is our guide to Part 3 of the Down The Rabbit Hole quest line, which is now live in Escape From Tarkov.
The event started back on December 2, with the Escape From Tarkov X (formerly Twitter) account posting a video of a man looking at a computer. The video then showed a man with a cat head on the video, talking about the game's TerraGroup, among other things. This added the Down The Rabbit Hole quest line in the game, which players can now take part in.
Down The Rabbit Hole – Part 3 Guide
Down The Rabbit Hole – Part 3 has the following objectives:
- Place a WI-FI Camera at the fenced area on the second floor of the car dealership on Streets of Tarkov
- Place a WI-FI Camera at Kaban's office on the second floor of the car dealership on Streets of Tarkov
- Obtain the documents in the car dealership on Streets of Tarkov
- Stash the documents at the marked room inside dorms on Customs
- Shoot a yellow signal flare from the dorms courtyard on Customs
The Car Dealership in Streets of Tarkov is relatively safer as Kaban, the Scav Boss that spawns there, is not going to spawn. However, Scavs do still spawn there, so players will still need to fight against them. Not only that, but players will also have to contend with other players who are doing the same quest.
To place the first WI-FI Camera, players must head to the second floor, on the sandbags near the stairs. The second WI-FI Camera, on the other hand, has to be placed in the sandbags located inside the closed section of the map. Sadly, this section is locked and requires the Car dealership closed section key.
After placing the two cameras, players must then grab the Car dealership documents from inside the closed section. There are three possible locations for the documents:
- Between the folded mattresses under a table
- Inside the pizza box on the table
- On a GenBaseCo. cardboard box
After finding the documents, the player must safely extract from the location. Otherwise, the player will have to find the document all over again. After extraction, the player must go to the three-story dorms in Customs. Once there, head to the toilet opposite the Marked Room, and stash the document in the toilet bowl. The player should then head out to the courtyard of the dorm and shoot a yellow flare into the sky. Players can do this using a handheld RSP-30 yellow flare, or a 26x75mm yellow flare cartridge from a signal pistol, which can be bought from Prapor and Jaeger respectively. If the player is using the handheld flare, the player must aim upwards, but not too much or it lands behind you.
Upon completion, players will receive the following rewards:
- +32,300 EXP
- Skier Rep +0.1
- 95,000 Roubles
- 99,750 Roubles with Intelligence center Level 1
- 109,250 Roubles with Intelligence center Level 2
- 1× SIG MCX .300 Blackout assault rifle
- 5× 5.56×45 TROY BattleMag STANAG 30-round magazine
- 180× .300 Blackout BCP FMJ
After completing the quest, Down The Rabbit Hole – Part 4 will immediately unlock, allowing players to continue with the questline.
