The game between the Golden State Warriors and Washington Wizards isn't over yet but Draymond Green has already spoken to the media regarding his fight with Bradley Beal and consequent ejection prior to halftime.

Green spoke with ESPN's Chris B. Haynes, saying:

“I don't know what I'm supposed to do if someone hits you twice. Man, you're taught as a kid not to allow that. What am I supposed to do?

Green added when asked about a history with Beal…

“There's a history with me and the NBA. That's the only reason I can think of why I was ejected.”

Here's is another look at the fight between Green and Beal that happened just before halftime.

It's hard to tell exactly in this video who is exactly the instigator in the fight. Draymond probably isn't far off assuming that his reputation made it easier for the referees to decide to eject him. He also makes it clear that he didn't really have a history with Beal, as it looks like things just escalated tonight in a hotly contested game that the Warriors have trailed for most of.

Green and Beal will both likely be hearing from the league after that with suspensions a real possibility for both of them.
