New Chicago Bulls addition Dwyane Wade took to Twitter to pay tribute to his late cousin Nykea Aldridge who was killed Friday in the streets of South Side Chicago.

This comes a day after Wade and his mother Jolinda were part of a panel hosted by ESPN’s “The Undefeated” titled: “An Undefeated Conversation: Athletes, Responsibility and Violence — a panel discussion on athletes, guns, violence and law enforcement.”

Wade voiced his thoughts on the future of the country with the recent shootings. Aldridge, 32, was the mother of four children.
