Thousands of people have been anxiously waiting for a new NCAA Football video game and the release date for the future game may have been leaked. According to Matt Brown of Extra Points, the future NCAA Football video game is set to be released sometime in July of 2023.

Early last month, it was discovered that EA Sports was working toward creating a new NCAA Football video game. EA Sports made the announcement with no release date in mind as the news itself was enough to incite excitement among football fans.

But a little over a month since the thrilling announcement, it looks like EA Sports currently plans on setting a contingent release timetable of July 2023. Of course, even that could be subject to change if EA Sports runs into any issues in the creation process of the video game.

When EA Sports used to make the NCAA Football games, fans of football were always itching to get their hands on the game. With some people upset with the gameplay of the Madden series, the NCAA Football games were a breath of fresh air.

The last NCAA Football video game that was released was NCAA Football 14 on July 9, 2013, with Denard Robinson gracing the cover. Ever since the video game concluded, fans have spoken about all of the college football players that we all failed to get an opportunity to play with, including Lamar Jackson, Joe Burrow, and Saquon Barkley. At the least, fans now have a date to look forward to for when the new video game is going to be released.
