EA Sports F1 24 Gameplay

The biggest change to F1 24's Gameplay is the new Dynamic Handling system, tire models, aerodynamics, and new power unit settings.

Firstly, the new Dynamic Handling system, which Codemasters worked with Red Bull Driver Max Verstappen to build, reportedly makes the gameplay more realistic. Thanks to a new suspension kinematics system, the cars now produce a more realistic feeling.

Additionally, tire models received some major improvements for added realism. A new temperature model, along with improved tire interaction creates realistic transitions between different surfaces. And the aerodynamics received some vast improvements. Codemasters used “Computational Fluid Dynamics” which is supposed to bring a more accurate and detailed feeling.

Dynamic Handling in F1® 24 wouldn’t be complete without reviewing the all-important aerodynamics of these amazing machines. On top of the revolutionary suspension and tyre updates we’ve used Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to bring significantly more detail to our aero simulation.

Furthermore, several power unit settings received improvements to give you more control over your vehicle. From enhanced throttle maps, to adjusted ERS deployment zones, players should have more ways to increase their performance.

F1 24 also makes new presentation upgrades, like Real Driver voices. Now, you'll hear your favorite racers like Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso communicate with their team while on the circuit. Speaking of circuits, several track updates have been implemented. From Silverstone to Spa-Francorchamps, F1 24 comes with the latest tracks for fans to enjoy.

And when speaking of visuals, all driver models received upgrades. You can also celebrate your favorite drivers in the new Fanzone mode in F1 World, which connects players to play for a common goal. In Fanzone, you pick your favorite team and driver for the upcoming season.

You compete against each other, earning Fan Points to contribute to your team. You can earn rewards and participate in unique challenges and a chance to earn a unique player badge too.

EA Sports F1 24 Story

EA Sports F1 24 will not include Braking Point, but rather a revamped Driver Career Mode. Firstly, the biggest new improvement is that you can now play as real F1 drivers in Driver Career. Before, players had to create their own custom driver, but now that'll be a thing of the past. Want to make Daniel Ricciardo or Zhou Guanyu the next Champion? The world is your oyster.

This also includes any up-and-coming F2 drivers, as well as iconic drivers like Ayrton Senna and Michael Schumacher. Furthermore, F1 24's Driver Career received several gameplay improvements:

Firstly, the new Driver Recognition system adds more weight to the decisions you make on and off the circuits. Each week, you're tasked with different goals, targets, both race week and season-long that feed into your recognition.

As you grow, some interesting opportunities will come your way. One opportunity includes the secret meetings feature, which lets you meet with other teams in private. However, entering these meetings risks your team finding out about them. Therefore, you need to finish them quickly while also earning the deal you deserve.

Research & Development also plays a big role in career mode. As your reputation grows, so does your team's motivation to build new parts. Therefore, a high reputation should lead to quicker build times and potential secret upgrades. Additionally, in each new season there'll be a slight change to the official rules. It could be inflation, chip shortages, or strict modifiers.

Lastly, F1 24 adds new Driver Accolades to Career Mode. These long term milestones give you something to achieve as your career progresses. If you create a new driver, you'll have lots of accolades to earn. However, if you pick a real driver, their accolade will actually be based on the real's drivers goals.

All of these new improvements can be enjoyed in Two Player Career, which you can play with friends. Race together on the same team, or as rivals on the grid. Regardless, Two Player Career is always a blast to play.

Furthermore, F1 24 introduces a new Challenge Career Mode, which offers a shorter but interesting role. You take control of a real driver and partake in events that earn you points to climb the leaderboards. The players with the most points at the end of the season are crowned champions. Furthermore, players and real drivers also get to influence future challenges.
