Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Fletcher Cox is one of the best defensive players in the NFL. Another defensive tackle, Aaron Donald of the Los Angeles Rams, is arguably the best overall player in the league.

Not only do Cox and Donald happen to play the same position for their respective franchises, but the two standout defensive tackles have even built a relationship over the years.

“My time is coming, but Aaron is a great player,” Cox recently said of Donald, via CBS Sports. “I talk to Aaron a lot and we share some things together. We talk about life and we talk a little football, but other than that I'm happy for him and he's happy for me. We both are young in our careers and we just go out and try to get better each day.”

The 28-year-old Cox has notably spent his entire NFL playing career as a member of the Eagles. The Eagles originally selected Cox with the No. 12 overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft out of Mississippi State while the veteran defensive lineman has since become a four-time Pro Bowl selection, one-time first-team All-Pro selection and three-time second-team All-Pro selection.

Not only that, but Cox infamously helped lead the Eagles to the franchise's first ever Super Bowl title just a few seasons ago. Leading to such a memorable moment, the Eagles managed to upend future Hall of Fame quarterback Tom Brady and the heralded New England Patriots en route to glory.
