Gardner Minshew couldn't hold back his emotions as he celebrated with his dad after leading the Philadelphia Eagles to a Week 13 win over the New York Jets.

Starting in place of the injured Jalen Hurts, Minshew got off to a hot start and reminded everyone that the Minshew Mania during his time in Jacksonville was no fluke. He threw two touchdowns in the contest on an efficient 20-of-25 pass completion for 242 yards.

It was exactly the kind of production the Eagles needed as they try to keep their playoff hopes alive, and Minshew delivered with a rather memorable performance.

After the contest, the 25-year-old QB was naturally hyped up. He was spotted celebrating with his dad outside the arena, clearly emotional as well as he hugged his father.

Gardner Minshew certainly deserved a ton of credit for stepping up for the Eagles, and it's hard not to feel for him as he waited for his chance to show what he got.

While Jalen Hurts is expected to reclaim the starting role again when he returns–which is expected to be after the Eagles' Week 14 bye–Philly fans will certainly be delighted to know they have a capable backup QB who can lead them to victories.

hopefully, though, Minshew gets more opportunities to start or play as a QB for the Eagles. After all, who doesn't want some Minshew Mania in Philadelphia?
