The Philadelphia Eagles got a big-time boost during the NFL Draft as they snatched away AJ Brown from the Tennessee Titans. Nobody was happier about it than Jalen Hurts.

The two were quickly seen beaming from ear to ear about the deal while on a FaceTime call with one another after the trade to the Eagles was consummated.

The Eagles quarterback and the Pro Bowl wide receiver go way back, with ties to one another back in their high school days. Asked about the idea of playing with AJ Brown this season, Jalen Hurts knows what kind of talent his team was able to acquire.

Via The Philadelphia Inquirer:

“He’s always been an excellent player since I’ve known him [before] college,” Hurts said on Wednesday, via Josh Tolentino of The Philadelphia Inquirer. “He’s always had the ability to make plays with the ball in his hand, use his body, box out defenders, break tackles. He’s a great addition to a great receiver room we have now, and I’m excited.”

If anyone knows just how talented AJ Brown is, it's Jalen Hurts. It's a different story if he can utilize such a potent aerial threat like Brown on the field as the Eagles look to make a playoff push this season.
