The Philadelphia Eagles and fantasy football owners are not going to be too happy with the latest Miles Sanders update. He is questionable to return to their game on Sunday against the New York Giants with a hand injury.

This is potentially a tough loss for an Eagles team who does still have an outside chance of making the playoffs. The reality is, they don't necessarily use Sanders as much as they should so not having him isn't as big of a loss as it should be for a running back of his caliber. That has been one of their major issues this season and it doesn't look like it's going to change because they simply just don't give him the ball enough.

Sanders was having an impressive game for the Eagles who have struggled to put points on the board as they are currently in a 3-3 tie at halftime. In this game, Miles Sanders had seven carries for 45 yards which is good for 6.4 per rush.

Philadelphia is going to need a miracle to make the playoffs, but if they can somehow win their next three games, they will be sitting in a decent position. A 10-win team usually finds a way to sneak into the playoffs and that's exactly what Philadelphia is going to have to hope for. They're not playing well at the moment but are going to need to turn it around and it looks like they're going to have to do so without Sanders in the second half.
