Nick Foles threw for 471 yards in the Philadelphia Eagles' win over the Houston Texans on Sunday afternoon, setting an Eagles franchise record for most passing yards in a single game.
Foles' 474 yards are most in Eagles history. Donovan threw for 464 against the Packers in 2004.

With the performance, Foles broke Donovan McNabb's mark of 464 yards against the Green Bay Packers back in 2004.
Foles also threw four touchdowns in the victory, completing 35 of his 49 passes and keeping the Eagles' slim playoff hopes alive.
Philadelphia improved to 8-7 with the victory and is in the NFC Wild Card race. However, the Minnesota Vikings currently hold the second Wild Card spot in the conference at 8-6-1 after coming up with a huge win over the Detroit Lions.
In order for Philadelphia to make the playoffs, they would have to defeat the Washington Redskins on the road next week and the Vikings would have to lose to the Chicago Bears at home.
Considering the Bears are 10-4 and are playing for a first-round bye, a Vikings loss next week does seem possible, while the Eagles should defeat a Redskins team that is playing without Alex Smith.
For the second year in a row, Foles is filling in for the injured Carson Wentz late in the season. Last year, it was a torn ACL that sidelined Wentz. This year, it was a back injury.
Should the Eagles fail to make the playoffs, next week will likely be Foles' last game as a member of the team. Foles will forever be remembered in Philly lore for leading the Birds to a Super Bowl last season.
