Who isn't interested in Montez Sweat at the moment? With the former Mississippi State pass rusher impressing throughout his final collegiate campaign and at this year's NFL Scouting Combine, it appears as though the Philadelphia Eagles have serious interest in his services with the 2019 NFL Draft now less than one month away.

According to Alex Marvez of SiriusXM NFL Radio, the Eagles would love to acquire the up-and-coming edge rusher as a result of the 2019 NFL Draft. However, the Eagles certainly won't be alone in such sweepstakes as Sweat is also drawing interest from the Jacksonville Jaguars, San Francisco 49ers and Atlanta Falcons — all of which will be meeting with him this season.

“Some will see Sweat as a leggy edge prospect with average play strength and a lack of refinement in his pass rush,” reads his NFL.com NFL Draft profile. “I see a talent, similar to Danielle Hunter out of LSU, with above-average length and a prospect who should continue to grow into his frame, allowing him to unleash his rush flashes into a consistent attack. His transition as an NFL rusher will take some time, but like Hunter, he should come out on the other side as a good, impact starter as an every-down edge defender.”

The Eagles have reached the postseason in back-to-back years with the first instance infamously resulting in a Super Bowl title. Even so, the Eagles can use of the help they can get if Philadelphia is going to contend with the Dallas Cowboys in the NFC East.
