The Philadelphia Eagles have been shorthanded on offense for the majority of this season but they'll have one of their key contributors available on Sunday. According to Ian Rapoport, Zach Ertz is officially active versus the Miami Dolphins in Week 13.

The Eagles' No.1 tight end sustained a hamstring injury in last week's game versus the Seattle Seahawks. As a result, Ertz was limited in practice throughout the week and there was some doubt that he'd suit up on Sunday.

Nevertheless, Ertz worked out his hamstring in pre-game warmups and appears to be ready to go against the Dolphins. With Ertz being named active on Sunday, Philadelphia will have nearly a full arsenal of weapons on offense.

While it's a positive sign that Ertz will play, you have to worry that he could re-injure his hamstring. Over the course of recent years, hamstring injuries can be tricky and can linger as the season progresses.

In the event that Philadelphia gets a large lead over the Dolphins, they may choose to sit Ertz later in the game. That means that Dallas Goedert could see a few more opportunities in the offense.

Last year, Ertz had career highs in receptions, yards, and touchdowns with 116 receptions, 1,163 yards, and eight touchdowns. The two-time Pro Bowler has responded by hauling in 67 passes for 712 yards and three touchdowns so far this season.

Besides Ertz, the Eagles will be getting Alshon Jeffery and Nelson Agholor back at wide receiver. The only key offensive player who won't be in uniform on Sunday will be Jordan Howard.
