Actor Tom Hiddleston emerged from the actors' strike with some revealing details about Marvel Characters who have passed away.

He appeared as the first guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. There, he could discuss current projects with the strike over, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

One topic of discussion was about characters in the MCU that died — and could be revived back to life.

Tom Hiddleston discusses MCU characters that died but might return

[This story contains Loki Season Two spoilers.]

The conversation stemmed from how Loki's new ability to time travel could bring back characters who passed away. In Loki's new season, the title character mastered his time-slipping capabilities, enabling him to go to any specific date or time.

Fallon asked Hiddleston about this ability and how it could have a role in the MCU.

“Since Loki knows how to time-slip now, can he go find someone like Tony Stark, a.k.a Iron Man?” the Tonight Show host asked. As a reply, Hiddleston pointed fingers at the host and jokingly said, “This guy. This is investigative journalism right here! I mean…time-slipping technically gives Loki some interesting moves he can make.”

The actor continued, “Speaking for myself, Loki's died a few times. I'm still here.” He then added, “I don't know that death is necessarily…I mean death is — death is up for grabs as an existential question! That's all I can give you!”

With Loki's new ability, time will tell if characters that died will return once again to the MCU. Though Tom Hiddleston didn't offer any specifics, it sounds like a hint at some dead favorites coming back to life.
