Bol Bol is a fun guy – plain and simple.

The son of NBA legend Manute Bol, Bol has always been an intriguing figure. Listed as one of the tallest players in the NBA, the Denver Nuggets center would almost automatically turn heads whenever he enters any room. The Sudanese stands at a whopping 7-foot-2 and is one of the more interesting prospects that has entered the league. It's no doubt that Bol possesses raw talent and physicality but Bol has also displayed that he's fun character. Just check out his one and only tattoo.

Okay so apparently, Bol is a HUGE Spongebob Squarepants fan. The 20-year old is obsessed with the Nickelodeon series that he opted to immortalize in ink his favorite episode on his right leg. Aye aye, captain.

The delicate and very intricate work of art features an illustration of one of the show's more infamous characters, Squidward with the word “Loser” pointed at him. This was a scene from the very first episode of the series, which according to Bol is actually his favorite episode ever. It's hard to argue with a guy who's watched entire Spongebob Squarepants series. Yes, all 12 seasons and counting.

And the funny thing is, Squidward isn't even his favorite character. He just chose to get this scene tattooed on his leg since it was one of his favorite moments in the entire series. Interesting choice, Mr. Bol.

Bol has always been a kid-at-heart who, as much as he loved his cartoons, has been attached to game of basketball as a young kid growing up in Kansas. He transferred to different high schools before finally settling in Findlay Prep in Nevada where he really started to really develop his basketball skills. Before that season started, the neophyte slot man was already among the 20 young athletes in USA Today's preseason boys' basketball team. He would continue to dominate with impressive stat lines that would eventually earn him a McDonald's All-American Game selection.

After high school, Bol brought his youthfulness to Oregon where he played under head coach Dana Altman. He was touted as one of the best prospects in the entire nation coming into his rookie season with the Ducks. He debuted with a towering 12-12 performance in 23 minutes against Portland State and would eventually tally a season-high of 32 points later in the season. Though he injured his foot before the year ended, Bol felt that he had enough experience already and decided to declare for the upcoming 2019 NBA Draft after just one season in Oregon.

The center was picked in the second round as the Miami Heat's 44th overall pick and was eventually shipped to Denver. As part of his two-way contract with the Nuggets, he also had a rather short but successful stint in the G League for the Windy City Bulls which earned him a permanent spot with the Nuggets. Though we have yet to witness his full capacity as a young and tall center in the league, it's sure is exciting to witness how his career slowly unravels.

Bol is currently with the Nuggets as he tries to continuously develop his game to be a formidable big guy in the league. But no matter where his career takes him, Bol would always have Mr. Squidward Tentacles and the rest of the gang from Bikini Bottom cheering him on.
