Max Verstappen is F1 24’s highest rated driver. With a 96 Overall, he ranks four points higher than Fernando Alonso, who’s second place with 92. While Verstappen’s experience is only an 85, Racecraft, Awareness, and Pace are all 94 or higher. The Champions edition cover star no doubt deserves the highest player rating the game has to offer. No other player in the game has 90+ OVR rating besides Verstappen and Alonso.

Alonso also leads the pack as the most experienced driver in the game (99). However, his awareness is just 81, which ranks pretty low amongst most drivers. Valtteri Bottas actually has the highest awareness (97) in the game.

At the very bottom is Williams Racing’s Logan Sargeant, which makes sense considering his experience. Sargeant only started last season and still looks to improve on a still-growing racing team. His OVR is 10 points lower than the driver above him, Zhou Guanyu.

Lastly, we’re absolutely enraged that Daniel Ricciardo didn’t receive a 99 OVR. At the very least, his experience, awareness, and pace should all be 90+. Jokes aside the overall driver ratings seem fairly accurate and similar to where we left off in F1 23. If you don’t agree with them, don’t worry! Codemasters will update the driver ratings as the season progresses.

Overall, that wraps up the F1 24 Driver Ratings at launch. Hopefully this list helps you decide who you want to use in the revamped Driver Career Mode. Whether you play as the Champion himself, or someone inexperienced like Piastri, all drivers have potential to win every GP in the game. We wish you the best of luck when you hit the circuits in F1 24 this week!
