The Atlanta Falcons have been listed as a team that is keen on moving up in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. According to Jay Glazer of Fox Sports, Atlanta tried to make a blockbuster trade to select Chase Young with the No. 2 pick.

The Falcons enter the first round with the No. 16 pick, but they have a desire to move inside the top 10. With that in mind, Atlanta was willing to make a move that would've somehow netted them the No. 2 pick.

Of course, the purpose of a move to the second overall pick would be to select Young, the coveted edge rusher out of Ohio State. Unfortunately for Atlanta, the Redskins don't seem willing to move back from the No. 2 pick.

After striking out for the No. 2 selection, the Falcons will undoubtedly attempt to make a deal with another team early in the first round. While they would prefer a top-five pick, Atlanta may have to settle for a top-10 pick instead.

In light of that, teams like the Arizona Cardinals, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Cleveland Browns could be trade partners with the Falcons. Furthermore, it's likely that Atlanta is interested in moving up to assure that they get someone like C.J. Henderson. Or they could have guys like Javon Kinlaw or Derrick Browns atop their draft board.

With Dan Quinn on the hot seat in 2020, the Falcons are going all-in for next season. Despite Atlanta coming up empty-handed in the sweepstakes for Young, you can't say it was for a lack of effort.
