The Atlanta Falcons will have Julio Jones and Austin Hooper when they take on the Carolina Panthers, according to Falcons reporter William McFadden.

Jones missed the team's last game on Thanksgiving dealing with a shoulder injury. Hooper has missed the last three games as he has dealt with a knee injury.

All signs pointed towards Jones being able to go in the team's last game against the New Orleans Saints, but he was a late addition to the inactive report. Jones has played through a lot of injuries during his career and said it was hard not being with his teammates on the field.

“It was very tough, I love to be out there with my brothers,” Jones said via the Atlanta Falcons team website. “I love the game of football. Just how hard we work before Sunday, we get up every day, we meet, we practice and to miss it it’s very hard to take but at the same time you have to take care of yourself and be responsible.”

Without Jones the last week and Hooper for a couple of weeks, it's been young guys who have had to step up and fill the void. Calvin Ridley, Christian Blake, Russell Gage, and Jaeden Graham all finished with more than 40 yards receiving against the Saints.

Injuries are never a good thing, but the bright spot was Matt Ryan was able to hook up with some of the young guys and there should be more confidence between them now, which should help going forward.
