With the NFL adopting a new rule this NFL offseason that makes pass interference reviewable there have been a lot of questions about how it will work out, and Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan is confident that they will find a way to get it right at some point.

Ryan knows that there are going to be some changes that will probably need to be made to the rule, but he is thankful to see the NFL trying to do something to get the rule right.

“They’ll get it right,” Ryan said via Pro Football Talk. “They’ll get it right at some point. That’s the biggest thing that I’ve seen with all of this stuff is their intent is to try and get it right. As a player you can respect and appreciate that.”

Ryan also thinks that if this rule had been implemented in 2012, the season could have ended differently. During the NFC Championship game against the San Francisco 49ers, there was a controversial play where it looked Roddy White was interfered with by NaVorro Bowman on the 49ers 10-yard line with a little over a minute to go in the game.

“Geez, yes it would have [helped us],” Ryan said. “It would have definitely helped us. It would have helped us, but the same can be said for a lot of teams throughout the course of history.”

It will be interesting to see how this new rule affects the NFL, but like everything else, there will probably be some controversy.
