The Tennessee Titans made major news with the move to acquire superstar wide receiver Julio Jones from the Atlanta Falcons. It was a move that has been talked about quite often this offseason, but one that no one truly thought was going to happen. Now, the Titans have the pieces put together to be one of the most feared offenses in the entire NFL.

On the outside looking in, this offense has the potential to be one of the best units that we have seen in recent NFL history. They have a very good quarterback in Ryan Tannehill, arguably the best running back in the game in Derrick Henry, and two true No. 1 wide receivers in Jones and AJ Brown. Tennessee is going to be a real threat this season.

Last year with the Falcons, Jones struggled with injury issues and had a down year. He was only able to play in nine games, but still managed to catch 51 passes for 771 yards and three touchdowns.

As you can see from those numbers, Jones is still more than capable of putting up huge numbers. With the Titans, he will have a great running mate in Brown and opposing defenses will have to pick their poison. Henry being a massive threat on the ground should also open up the Titans' offense in a big way.

All of that being said, let's dive in and take a look at three takeaways from the Titans trading for Julio Jones from a Fantasy Football perspective.

3. Titans' Offense Will Be Highly Sought

First of all, the Titans are going to have one of the most sought after offensive rosters for Fantasy Football players. Everyone will want to have the chance to select Derrick Henry and both AJ Brown and Julio Jones are going to be top targets as well.

It has been a long time since the Titans were viewed as an offensive juggernaut. That is exactly what they have become with this move. After losing Jonnu Smith and Corey Davis in free agency, this was exactly the move that Tennessee needed to make.

Jones is going to be a monster target in Fantasy Football leagues and the offense in general will be targeted early in Fantasy Football drafts.

2. Both AJ Brown And Julio Jones Are True WR1 Fantasy Football Options

Secondly, the Titans now have two of the top wide receiver targets in Fantasy Football this year. Some may be concerned about whether they will end up taking production away from one another. That should not be a major concern and no one should shy away from drafting either player due to that concern.

Tennessee is going to air the football out early and often this year. They are not going to leave either superstar wideout out of the game plan.

Both Brown and Jones are still going to get their touches. They are still going to produce at a high level and are both legitimate WR1 options for your Fantasy Football roster.

1. Being With Titans Gives Jones A Chance To Stay Healthy

Finally, one of the biggest concerns over the past couple of years for Fantasy Football players when it comes to drafting Jones has been whether or not he would be able to stay healthy. With the Falcons, Jones became worn down and overused due to opposing defenses throwing the kitchen sink at keeping him locked down.

With the Titans this season, Jones is finally going to have a chance to be a superstar without being the only superstar at his position. Calvin Ridley was a good player, there is no doubting that, but Jones needs a player who can be targeted over him at times to take pressure off of his shoulders.

Tennessee will not have to target Jones aggressively. He will still get his targets, but they won't come in overwhelming bunches. This is exactly the kind of situation that Jones needed to get his career back on track and get back to playing like the elite talent he has been throughout his entire career.
