State Farm Insurance once again hosts The Gamerhood Challenge 2, pitting streamers and gamers like Ninja and Ludwig against each other for charity.
For starters, let’s talk about the event itself. This event is the second season of the award-winning Gamerhood Challenge. It brings together well-known gamers, streamers, and content creators to face off against each other in a variety of gaming challenges, ultimately facing off against Jake from State Farm and his mystery guests.
The eight players joining this event will be competing in pairs, each with a charity they will support. After all, the winners of this event will win $100,000 for the charity of their choice. Don’t feel too bad about the other teams, as their charities will also be receiving $10,000 each. Here are the players who will be participating in the event, as well as the charities they will be representing:
The Gamerhood Challenge takes place in a custom-built neighborhood on a 50,000-square-foot set and will have players experiencing built-in mishaps throughout the series. These mishaps simulate (mostly) real-world home mishaps that streamers, gamers, and content creators can experience in their day-to-day lives.
Additionally, fans who are watching at home will be able to take part in all the fun. Viewers can join in using the new interactive component, which features at-home gameplay and trivia on whatever device they are using to watch. This gives viewers a chance to win various prizes, including gift cards of up to $500. At-home winners will be selected during each episode.
Players will be able to catch the series every Thursday in June, at 4:00 – 6:00 PM PST on State Farm’s Twitch and YouTube Channels. Some of the streamers will also be streaming the episodes on their respective channels. The first episode is airing right now, so make sure to catch and who knows? You might even win a prize.
