Thanks to the recent TarkovTV Live, we now know when the coming wipe is. Here is all the information we have about the upcoming August 2024 Wipe in Escape From Tarkov (EFT), including its dates, time, and more.

Escape From Tarkov 2024 Wipe Date: Early August

As mentioned during the recently concluded Tarkov TV Live, the next wipe for Escape From Tarkov will arrive in Early August 2024. There is no exact date available yet but should updated news become available we will be sure to let you know.

Wipe events are currently ongoing, with the most recent one involving an in-game quest from Jaeger. This quest requires the player to kill all of the bosses in Shoreline, as they have a guaranteed spawn at the Health Resort. Finishing this quest will reward players with a variety of keys.

What To Expect After The Wipe

After the wipe, Escape From Tarkov will transition over to Patch 0.15.0.0. This will bring a variety of new content to the game, most of which were teased during the live stream, as well as via some posts on their X (formerly Twitter).

Here are just some of the things players can expect in Escape From Tarkov version 0.15.0.0:

  • Deployable and functional bipods
    • Drastically reduces recoil when firing automatic weapons like machineguns
  • Various new weapons
    • M60 Machine Gune
    • SR3M
    • VSS VAL
    • UZI
  • New Hideout areas
    • Zone for Equipment Kits and Mannequins
    • Cultist Zone
    • Theta Secure Container
      • 1 2×2 space
      • 3 1×2 spaces
  • Various new apparel for BEAR and USEC
  • EFT and EFT Arena Crossovers
    • Players can transfer items from EFT Arena to the main game, including money, GP, and equipment boxes
  • The ability to open equipment and item boxes from EFT Arena in EFT
  • A Factory Rework
  • Tripwires and landmines
  • PMC Karma

Escape From Tarkov Roadmap

Additionally, Battlestate Games released their roadmap leading up to Escape From Tarkov's August 2024 wipe. For June, players can expect the following:

  • EFT & EFT: Arena Integration
  • Player level and EXP synchronization
  • Player Skills and mastering Synchronization
  • New Trader – Arena Ref
  • SPecial in-game quests
  • Expansions and bonuses for Edge of Darkness and The Unheard Edition
  • PvE matching improvements
  • Armor system adjustments
  • PvE AI Improvements
  • Purchasable PvE Mode  for all editions
  • QoL Improvements
  • In-game polls system
